This committee is in charge of the on-the-ground actions like petitions, Letter Writing Evenings, going to demonstrations, building a human statue and raising awareness for current Amnesty International cases in any creative way you can think of. So, if you like writing letters to support people in need, are creative, want to raise awareness about Human Rights abuses and want to get others enthusiastic about Human Rights, this might be your perfect fit.

Time input: One weekly lunch meeting, in the week of the activity 1 hour extra + the activity
What you can do: help organize petitions, letter writing and other activities (e.g. urgent actions), get creative how to raise awareness, reserve locations, order material, explain people about the cases, directly support political prisoners and their families, put pressure on governments
